Upgrade your planer with easy an easy to use adapter to that fits a 2.5” hose.
Offered in two variations. Keep the same factory orientation with the straight fitting or upgrade to a 90 degree elbow to get your dust collection hose out of the way of the board outfeed
Fits perfectly and a side hookup is absolutely necessary to keep your hose away from your outfeed

Fit perfectly and solved the problem.
Somewhat of a tight fit but once installed there should be no reason to remove it. Will be a nice mod to my Dewalt planer.
