Miter Saw Table

built this table about a month ago. the cut plans were great. I ended up modifying the design since it relies heavily on a pocket hole jig which I don't have. I also found that a 42" chop saw table height was too high for me. I lowered to 38" to match my other workbench. Overall, a good/easy build that will be put to work! thanks!!!

Have quick question I not have atable saw or a planer what do you recommend me to buy first to get the 2x4 so crisp in square like yours
