Save space in your workshop with the expanding planer table. It folds down to 2’x3’ and expands out to be 8’ long with 3’ of infeed and outfeed.
This design allows you to easily run up to 10’ boards and removes the chance of gouging the ends of you boards in to the planer blades.
This build is perfect for those looking to save space in a smaller shop or garage. Designed for the DeWalt DW735 planer, but includes easy formulas to fit to your planer

Plans are very easy to follow, my build is almost done... just need to get the Dewalt planer mounted to the top of the stand and give it a try!
So far so good. Just started and completed the table frame and casters on. Love the way the 2x4’s look after planing 1/32”-1/16” off the edges before working with them. Just getting ready to put on top and bottoms and waiting for arrival of rollers and locking hinges. Unfortunately, as I live in Canada, the links do not work seamlessly for the parts list on Amazaon.com but seem to be able to find similar on Amazon.ca in Canada. Thanks again for plans and YouTube content.
The plans made it much easier to build the table. It turned out well. The only issue was after the table was assembled I noticed a very slight bow in the plywood. It is mostly cosmetic but I can still get a lot of work done with it. I also have the same dewalt planer that you have so it worked out perfectly. The plans saved me a lot of time and made the build very easy. Great plans.
I just ordered and downlaoded the plans The plans look thorough enough, however....
The .skp file leaves a lot to be desired. For the $5.00 it costs I expected to get a full and complete drawing like the one that is on the final page of the plans. One that included the casters, outfeed tables (with supports and rollers)
What I got is a rudimentary set of 2 x 4's. I thought maybe it was just this build, so i checked the other downloads i ordered, and they are the same.
Save your money and just draw up a plan in Sketchup using the written ones as you guide
